It’s hard to come across a song that gets me as gassed as King Krules 2013 song A Lizard State from his album 6 Feet Beneath The Moon.
Honestly there’s no better blend of jazz punk, it’s suave, it’s smooth and it’s rough. Archies hoarse voice being backed by an intense horn section is amazing, really giving the track a new Rat Pack type of vibe.
If you’re looking for something pleasant yet dissonant then I implore you to re-listen to Krules first album. Another one of my favourite tracks on this is Easy Easy.
